Ingredients (for 6 people):

  • 100 g of chocolate
  • 80g of butter
  • 80 g of sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 4 tablespoons chestnut flour
  • custard for gourmands!


On reduced heat, melt chocolate and butter. Beat the 4 egg yolks, add the sugar and melted butter-chocolate and chestnut flour. Mix well. Beat the egg whites and mix gently with the rest of the mixture. Butter and flour a baking tin, pour the mixture and cook for about 45 minutes in the oven. 6. Check the cooking by pricking the cake with a knife blade that should come out dry.

To taste as is at tea time or with a custard for dessert.
