Ingredients for 6 people:

  • 200 g of chestnut flour,
  • 50 cl of milk,
  • 3 eggs,
  • 1 C. oil soup,
  • 1 pinch of salt.


In a terrine make a fountain of flour, add salt. To avoid lumps, add the milk gradually. Beat the eggs and add them to the mixture while working together. To obtain a smooth and homogeneous paste. Let stand about 2 hours in the fridge. Oil your stove with a cotton soaked in oil and heat over high heat. As soon as the oil is hot, pour a ladle of dough and spread. When the first side is cooked sauté to return and cook the other side. You can mix 2 flours in equal parts. You can enjoy them sweet, accompanied by cream of marron or any other jam.

They can also be enjoyed as buckwheat pancakes.
